I wanted to try to explain my gratitude for this year I was able to spend with your children. There have been many times over the past few weeks when I think about how fast this school year has gone by, the growth we have seen, the language and social skills improving. Each student is so special to me and they all have such great personalities and talents. It has been an awesome 2016-2017 school year!
As a thank you, I made each student a scrap book covering their individual years. However, the store I'm getting them bound at hasn't finished them yet. They are scheduled to be done Thursday afternoon or evening.
For students that will be in my summer school class, I will send home their scrapbooks next week. For other students, I will reach out to parents to find out if there's a time we can meet up the end of this week or over the weekend.
Have a fantastic and safe summer!!!
We had such an enjoyable time at the Utah Hogle Zoo!!! Take a look through our many wonderful pictures!
What are things we do in spring? That's what we learned about this past week. The first week of May, we learned about our senses and shared our April family month projects.
We had a blast at the dinosaur museum and it turned out to be a great success! I'm going to let the words speak for themselves.
These are some highlights of random class activities that we did throughout the month of April. It was fun to learn and explore new things!
In April, as part of our field trip to Thanksgiving Point, we learned about dinosaurs. Here are some pictures of your week's adventures (minus the field trip - that'll be in a separate blog post). We went on a dinosaur egg hunt outside - full of 3 marshmallow "eggs" each.
Last week, we learned about everything forest including forest animals and plants! The students loved going on a bear hunt and we did this almost daily. It was fun!
Timpanogas Animal Hospital was also able to visit and did a fantastic job explaining what she does and brought A LOT of hands on activities for the students to do and things to try on and explore.
